Kusamono is a Japanese art form that was developed alongside bonsai art as companion plants. The word kusamono translates to “grass thing” and is made up of unique pots or trays arranged with wild grasses and flowers as well as other soft-stemmed plants.
Estella Flather (a nationally and statewide published author and lecturer with 45 years of experience, who happens to be your club president), will take over the program.
The kusamono demonstration material will be raffled off at the meeting as well as a number of suiseki, viewing stones and bonsai stands.
